Responsibilities
A Home Support Aide is a qualified individual who carries out social, personal and certain health care tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse and who may also provide assistance with housekeeping and other related supportive tasks to a client in his/her place of residence.  The aide may perform other tasks permissible under state scope of practice and regulatory guidelines under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED; one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
